How Tina's Journey Began

I began my Yoga journey several years ago while completing My Master’s Degree online and was simply looking to become healthier. I joined a gym and found that the yoga classes were the only activity that I truly enjoyed and remained consistent with. After that, I quickly joined a yoga studio, and haven't looked back since. Although I found yoga for the physical health benefits, I soon found that I remained for the spiritual, emotional, and psychological benefits

 

I received my first 200-hour YTT certificate in early 2019 and my kids/youth YTT shortly afterward. I completed my Reiki level 1 and 2 training and I am Registered with the Canadian Reiki Association. I'm also a Registered Social Worker, with the Ontario College of Social Workers and I have over 10 years of experience working with at-risk youth, individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, and adults with disabilities


 

I hope to help others connect to yoga in a meaningful way I was able, to help others to see that they are not alone in their journey (and sometimes struggle) for emotional, spiritual, and physical wellness


 

I'm a compassionate and understanding Practitioner and Yogi. As a Trauma-Informed Reiki Practitioner, Yogi, and Social Worker, I respond to the scars within each of us as I continue to heal my own. I am sensitive, open, and have a flexible approach to yoga and life. My focus in yoga and my practice is on available modifications which allow each practice or treatment to be accessible for the vast majority of diverse people and needs
